A local gardening business went from 0 to fully booked within one month
The problem
Thistle & Vine Gardening Services saw an opportunity to capitalise on the high demand but lack of supply for professional gardeners in the Chichester area.
After an initial leaflet drop which rendered little results, Thistle & Vine came to us with a half finished WIX website and no real idea where to begin with their digital marketing effort.
Understanding budget was restricted, the challenge was to quickly figure out what would work within the confines of the budget for maximum instant results. If we could find customers quickly, Thistle & Vine would start to thrive.

Our first step was to look at the WIX website, creating clear call to actions, an enquiry form and building landing pages for key services. The service landing pages were decided upon from keyword research, which tells us what people are searching for.
Any service based business website needs great imagery, so we used Unsplash to find royalty-free, high quality images to keep costs low.
After the website was to a suitable standard, we created a Google My Business location so Thistle & Vine would start to appear on Google Maps for local searches. This also makes the business look more credible online.
The final phase for this local business start up was a highly targeted Google Ad’s search campaign for the local area, to drive people to the website who were interested in hiring a gardener.
Results
Thistle and Vine became fully booked within their first month and had to stop the Google Ads campaign.
The high quality leads driven to website also created enough referrals that Thistle & Vine have not had to spend any more on advertising since the initial launch campaign.
Our zero contract policy meant Thistle & Vine were able to stop using us once they had reached full capacity. We had done our job and Thistle & Vine got exactly want they wanted. Job done.
